The Robert DiLibero Foundation
GO BACK
<------------
The Event:  This event will feature a live DJ performing non-stop for as long as he possibly can!!  He will begin playing music at 9AM on
Friday March 9, 2007 and continue from there. He will collect pledges for each consecutive hour he performs, and donate the
proceeds to several charities.
The Great Charity Spin will also feature an Art Show titled: "Rejuvenation: Inspirations of hope". This will
be a visual Art exhibit and performance about facing life and making a pathway away from the solitude of dealing with an illness
and depicting the phenomenon of vitality and healthiness being restored. In this country one third of the population will be
affected by cancer. Through the process of art we hope to bring awareness to every one. (Exhibition date: March 9-to April 31,
2007. The show will be curated by renowned artist Rene Mayorga and will highlight local talent from the LIC area and beyond.)

The Great Charity Spin
continues through Saturday and Saturday night, March 10th, with Latin Dance lessons, the Dating Game
and "
Flashback: An Old School Blast", featuring classic disco and freestyle music

The Cause: This is a charity event.  All pledges/donations will directly benefit The Robert DiLibero Foundation, The Vito Cusumano
Fund, Voices Against Brain Cancer (in honor of Julie Oeming Badiee) and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital
. These worthy
organizations service patients suffering from Leukemia, Lymphoma, and other difficult blood diseases and cancers.
